RED MOON ROAD LIVE
LIVE AT THE TIMES CHANGED
THURSDAY MAY 23RD
9PM
After catching a bad break (literally… Sheena broke her leg making an epic frisbee catch) Red Moon Road is happy to get a leg up on things (literally… we will be concocting some sort of device resembling a med-evil torture machine to hold her leg up while singing) by returning to the stage for the first time in a month (literally).
Expect some new songs and epic bass solo’s from special guest, the one and only Quinton “The Bottom” Bart.
You’re all good people! Housecoats recommended… underclothes optional.
2 hot bands one awesome venue, what more could you want?
Sweet Alibi
Tickets at the door are on a first come first serve basis. So if you find yourself in line at a sweet alibi show, congratulations you’ve come this far. You may miss out on the visual treat of seeing these lovely ladies in action but if your hearing their eclectic soulful pop-rhythm and roots you may want to find yourself a friend, get comfortable and stay awhile. It’s been said of sweet alibi that they are one to “watch”, since you came late you’ll just have to listen.
The strong vocal talents of Jessica Rae Ayre, the harmonious soulful melodies of Amber Nielsen and the guitar banjo styling of Michelle Anderson have cemented Sweet Alibi in the Canadian music scene.
From Winnipeg, Sweet Alibi have been getting feet tapping, getting people up and clapping, earning for themselves a reputation as a solid three piece band and often rocking out with a full rhythm section.
Sweet Alibi is poised to stop teasing Canadians and begin pleasing them with their next project: “We’ve Got To”. Produced by Dana/Rusty Matyas of Waking Eyes/Imaginary Cities.
Scarlette Jane
The new collaboration of Andrea Ramolo and Cindy Doire: Haunting
voices, distinctive songs.
SCARLETT JANE is one of the most exciting new collaborations in recent
Canadian music – the marriage of the distinctive songs and beautifully haunting
voices of Andrea Ramolo and Cindy Doire.
And now, Stranger, their debut recording, captures their strength and their
vulnerability, and a progressive roots sound which embodies the raw and candid
demeanor of Lucinda Williams, the moody sensuality of Stevie Nicks and Nick
Cave, and the tender playfulness of Dolly Parton.
The New Lightweights are playing at Times Change(d)!

Ultra Mega is going on tour in support of their new release, a 3 song beauty called Native Alicia. It’s a tape with a sound that’ll fit well in your Walkman as you return your empties to LA Roadhouse on Logan. We will be launching this mind-bending classic on May 4th at the Times with Vince Andrushko, one of Winnipeg’s smoothest crooners. Everyone is invited. Stop by the Times. It’ll be worth it!
